Batteryloop commissions its largest second life ESS

Batteryloop, the second life ESS specialist, has commissioned its largest ESS so far using batteries from Mercedes Benz Energy for its customer Stena Fastigheter. The system has an output of 2.8 MW with a 2.6MWh capacity. The system, that was installed already before the summer, is used for frequency ancillary services but will also be able to support Stena with peakshaving and storage of self produced energy.

Batteryloop was started as company within Stena Recycling but is today and independant company within the Stena Group.
