Li-Cycle close funding for development of 60Ktpa recycling hub in New York

Li-Cycle has closed a capital-raising push to fund the development of its lithium-ion battery recycling ‘hub’ in Rochester, New York, as the company looks to expand into international markets.
Moore Strategic Ventures (MSV) led the Series C equity funding round.
No terms were disclosed. In previous communication Li-Cycle has stated that an investment of 175MUSD is required for the plant in New York. It is not clear whether the full investment is secured.
Li-Cycle also states that they are starting international activities and are actively recruiting in Europe.
