Circular Energy Storage is a London-based data collection and analytics consultancy focused on the lithium-ion battery end-of-life market.

We help companies and organizations in the entire battery value chain to take better decisions in everything that relates to use, reuse and recycling of lithium-ion batteries.

We do this by continuously collecting, analyzing and publishing data from all parts of the value chain worldwide and by working actively with customers in their strategy and business development.

 

Among our customers are the world’s largest companies in automotive, electronics, battery manufacturing, energy and battery materials. We also count a large number or reuse and recycling companies to our customers as well as governments, major investors and investment funds in the field.

The consultancy was founded in 2017 by Hans Eric Melin, with long experience from the battery recycling industry and from advising companies and governments in circular economy, eco design and energy policy.

Our research has been published in publications such as Science and Nature and has been used by the European Commission, the White House, International Energy Agency, World Economic Forum and several NGO’s and government agencies in Europe.
